Homeowners

Browsing the public directory does not require an account, name, email address, phone number or project form. Standard hosting/security logs may still record technical information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps and requested pages.

Advertisers

Businesses purchasing or receiving a placement provide listing and billing information such as business name, contact email, license/registration number, phone number, website and ad image. Payment-card information is processed by Stripe and is not stored by KnowAGuyNJ.

How information is used

We use advertiser information to publish listings, process billing, administer renewals, prevent duplicate slot sales, provide support, enforce our terms and operate the service.

No homeowner lead selling

KnowAGuyNJ does not run a homeowner quote form and does not sell homeowner project leads to contractors.
